How Can We Overcome The Communication Gaps?

As we continue to navigate the new business world comprised of teams working from home or in hybrid setups, we HAVE to talk about how we are going to overcome the communication gaps.

Research studies show, if project team members aren’t working in close proximity, they are eight times less effective.

What does this mean?

It means we have to start finding ways to collaborate on a different level when working remotely

Because when we lose that in-person connection, we lose things like the chance to learn body language … or a chance to notice when a co-worker is having a bad day and might need some empathy … or the power of brainstorming in a room together.

We have to get creative on ways to overcome these gaps now. Co-workers have to become more sensitive to how they communicate and behave.
